British artist Curtis Holder announced as selector for ING Discerning Eye 2025

I am pleased to share that I have been invited to join the panel of selectors for this year’s ING Discerning Eye.

Organised by the Discerning Eye charity, the annual exhibition celebrates contemporary visual art and supports greater public engagement with the arts.

What makes this exhibition distinctive is its format. Six selectors, including two artists, two collectors, and two critics, each curate their own section independently. The result is six small exhibitions within one.

Artists from across the UK are invited to submit small-scale works. The deadline for entries is Thursday 28 August 2025. Submitting artists will have the chance to win a range of prizes, including the ING Purchase Prize, worth £5,000.

The exhibition will take place at the Mall Galleries, London, from 14 to 23 November 2025. A virtual version of the show will also be available to view online.
