Curtis Holder’s work ‘The Jewellery Maker’ highly commended in the inaugural RBSA Drawing Prize

I am honoured that my drawing ‘The Jewellery Maker’ was awarded the Highly Commended prize at the first ever Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) Drawing Prize exhibition.

Featuring 128 works from 96 artists, the exhibition showcases the best of contemporary drawing and includes both established and emerging artists. A wide range of styles, techniques, and practices are on display, including traditional mark making, digital drawing, performance drawing and sculptural drawing.

The year’s exhibition was selected by Turner Prize Nominee Barbara Walker MBE RA, Kate Mason, cultural leader across the arts, heritage, cultural and creative sectors and Steve Bulcock, Deputy Head of Institute of Creative Arts at Birmingham City University.

The exhibition is open at the RBSA Gallery in Birmingham from 05 September until 15 October.
