I am excited to be taking part in Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year 2020, Series 7

The new series of Portrait Artist of the Year 2020 kicks off this October on Sky Arts and I’m delighted to be one of the artists competing in the heats. You can spot me in the trailer!

Every year the TV competition challenges 72 professional and amateur artists to draw and paint celebrity sitters in the hope of winning a £10,000 portrait commission for a national institution.

Judges Kate Bryan, Tai-Shan Schierenberg and Kathleen Soriano are all back to keep the artists on our toes.

Episode 1 of the series airs on Wednesday 14 October at 8pm on Sky Arts which is now available for everyone to watch on Freeview. My heat is Episode 2 which will be broadcast on Wednesday 21 October.
