Curtis Holder exhibits in ‘Lines of Enquiry: Drawings from the Collection’ at Leeds Art Gallery

A series of preparatory drawings, alongside one of my large-scale works, will be exhibited in Lines of Enquiry: Drawings from the Collection at Leeds Art Gallery from 21 April 2026 to 11 April 2027.

The exhibition brings together drawings from the Leeds Museums and Galleries nationally renowned works on paper collection, exploring the role that sketches and preparatory studies play within the creative process.

The selected works offer insight into artistic process and decision-making, highlighting moments of experimentation, development, and refinement as ideas evolve into resolved compositions.
