Curtis Holder featured in ‘The 20/20 Portfolio’ exhibition at Pallant House Gallery

I am excited to be part of the The 20/20 Portfolio exhibition at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester opening on 31 October 2025.

Commissioned by UAL’s Decolonising Arts Institute as part of the 20/20 initiative, the portfolio is a dynamic series of works by twenty artists from the Global Majority, created through residencies with twenty UK public art collections.

Each artist contributed elements of their residency work, which were translated into print, reflecting their creative processes, ideas, and experiences, and providing a collective record of their engagement with UK national institutions.

My print is a detail from Seki Lynch (coloured pencil on paper, 150 x 123 cm, 2024), one of the large-scale portraits created for my 2023-2025 solo exhibition Silent Echoes, Spoken Truths at Leeds Art Gallery.

This exhibition presents the first full showing of the complete print portfolio, a vibrant collection spanning a range of mediums and stages of artistic development.

The artists featured are Madi Acharya-Baskerville, Aqsa Arif, Habib Hajallie, Gayle Chong Kwan, Yuen Fong Ling, Shenece Oretha, Jamila Prowse, Hannah Sabapathy, Jessica Ashman, Cora Sehgal Cuthbert, Sonya Dyer, Billy Dosanjh, Adham Faramawy, Holly Graham, Curtis Holder, Sarah Maple, Karen McLean, Christopher Samuel, Zoë Tumika, and Bindi Vora.

The 20/20 Portfolio will be on view at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester, from 31 October 2025 to 1 February 2026.
