Curtis Holder exhibits in ‘20/20 Futures’ exhibition at London College of Fashion, UAL East Bank
I am pleased to share that my work will be shown in 20/20 Futures at the London College of Fashion, UAL East Bank, from 6 November 2025 to 18 January 2026.
The exhibition celebrates the achievements of twenty artists who undertook residencies with UK public collections as part of 20/20, a three-year initiative developed by UAL’s Decolonising Arts Institute.
Two drawings from my exhibition Silent Echoes, Spoken Truths, held at Leeds Art Gallery in 2024–25, will be presented, together with the film created during my residency. The Leeds exhibition followed an eighteen-month residency at the Gallery and explored the deep, often unspoken histories of people of the Global Majority in Leeds through dialogue and drawing.
20/20 Futures brings together work from all twenty residencies, showcasing diverse artistic practices across textiles, film, drawing, photography, sculpture, sound, and more.
Participating artists include: Adham Faramawy, Aqsa Arif, Billy Dosanjh, Bindi Vora, Christopher Samuel, Cora Sehgal Cuthbert, Curtis Holder, Gayle Chong Kwan, Habib Hajallie, Hannah Sabapathy, Holly Graham, Jamila Prowse, Jessica Ashman, Karen McLean, Madi Acharya-Baskerville, Sarah Maple, Shenece Oretha, Sonya Dyer, Yuen Fong Ling and Zoë Tumika
The exhibition takes place at the London College of Fashion, UAL East Bank, 105 Carpenters Road, Stratford, London, E20 2AR. Admission is free and open to the public, Tuesday to Saturday, 10am – 5pm.
